What is a felony?
It is a crime involving violence and is considered detrimental compared to a misdemeanor. These crimes are dangerous and punishable by imprisonment for years, or a life sentence equal to death, or death (lethal injection).
Roughly 1.7+ million people are incarcerated in the United States in Federal, State, and local prisons. This number doesn’t include immigration camps, juvenile detention centers, military jails, and pre-trial holding cells. The legislation is different in areas of the world for individual provinces. Many paid their debt/s, yet their situation remains tarnished because their reputation proceeds them. Integration is difficult, hope is crippling, and faith is fading. You can’t change the past, so focus on your future reputation. Find positive influences to renew your thoughts, edify your spirit, quench your thirst (your place of peace and planning), and relax your body.
Build a positive effective reputation by prioritizing “YOU”. Organize your action-driven goals. Those useless behaviors from unguarded outside influences called spare time and idle hands ruin useful habits. Anything you learn negatively, you can also unlearn. When trust is broken, it has to be restored so you can become trustworthy by your standards and build steadily, growing in wisdom and increasing your value.
My brother’s keeper
“There’s no way around hard, hard work.” ~ Arnold Schwarzenegger
Show accountability with contracts, behavior modification, and possible environmental change. This may include finding improved mindsets, daily routines, and connections. It may include eliminating, filtering, or repairing emotional connections without guilt or shame. The person you let down wasn’t your parents, kids, or dog, it was YOU. You can’t be your brother’s keeper if you’re un-kept. Wisdom is wealth! You can’t have growth without struggle. When something loses its integrity, it loses its value. i.e. a drinking cup with a hole in the bottom.
This is a hilarious story. The first time I heard Mike Murdock was on television in a hotel spa because I needed a mommy break. One day of total relaxation solely for moms, they aired Mr. Murdock early in the morning. Yeah, you gotta get up early for him, okay? This man can preach. I continued to listen, and it seemed as if he was speaking to me with his words. It completely hypnotized me until he mentioned sowing a seed of $1,000.00 and I snapped out of it. I said, “Oh, he’s not speaking to me”. Lol However, I purchased the book.
Idle time on your hands can lead to boredom, troubling, and destructive thinking. Find a productive hobby, job, or like-minded group. Develop positive affirmations, and friendships, and form healthy habits through repetitive actions until it becomes a part of you.
“Rome wasn’t built in a day,” ~ John Heywood;
It took less than an hour to burn it down.
Old habits don’t leave on their own. Kick them out. Changing a limiting belief is difficult, but necessary for desired results. Everything begins in your mind first, before it manifests into reality. Whatever you’re not changing, you’re choosing. This is not about perfection, tradition, or a list of chores to follow. Find those broken records inside your head playing “defeat” over and over and break them, prove them wrong, and always challenge them. Put on a record that plays “victory” is mine. Soon you will rid yourself of low self-esteem and shame. This will give you a reason to have something worth fighting for.
