Some plants are indeed only male or only female. Ginkgo, kiwi, cannabis, and willow all have individuals that make only pollen or only seeds. Botanically, they are known as dioecious plants, and their strategy ensures genetic outcrossing. Outcrossing is the practice of introducing unrelated genetic material into a breeding line. It increases genetic diversity, thus reducing the probability of all individuals being subject to disease or reducing genetic abnormalities.
Botanical SexismÂ
If you are not into the business of breeding marijuana plants then you should avoid doing this at all costs. While it is virtually impossible to determine whether the marijuana seeds you have on hand are either male or female, it is not impossible to tell if the marijuana plant is male or female at early stages. Why don’t your local streets turn into a wild forest? Botanical Sexism is a process by which urban landscapers, to keep city streets clear of seeds & flowers, plant only male trees. The male trees lack the seeds of their female counterparts but unfortunately have more pollen. Gesundheit!
Knowledge is a Seed
Some living plants need the aid of insects, land animals, wind, and sea life, including humans to help them grow. ie: ants, birds, honey bees, humans. Whether we learn in life, a university, or college it makes zero difference. Knowledge is the seed for change. University VS College – What’s The Difference? Education Comparison; one grants you an accredited Ph.D. or Masters’s Degree and college does not. Many have changed their lives with these educational vehicles.
